These negative slides are from the film that was taken by Mary Jessie Garza. Garza is a native of San Antonio and was invited to be the photographer for the “Rostros y Almas/ Faces and Souls” exhibit by Mary Visser. The black and white slides are labeled with the dimensions of the printed photographs that hang in the exhibit. All of the portraits that are a part of the exhibit can be found amongst these slides. These negative slides demonstrate the technology that was used to produce a photography exhibit in the historical moment of the early 1990s.
